At the conclusion of the rites, Carl held a ceremony for the Q’ero to show his appreciation and to create ayni for their time and for the great gifts he had received during the journey.

He gave them each a kuya (power stone) infused with his medicine, acknowledged a totem animal he saw within each of them, and gave them a blessing at each of their energetic power centers.
